Well, it is very obvious because social media include diverse gigantic social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and so much more.

But if we consider the most popular one, then Instagram (for sure) is the most preferred platform, outshining every other social media platform in existence.
Currently, the hottest trend on Instagram is what we call “Follow Farming”

“Follow Farming” or going on Instagram, Facebook, or other social media sites, searching for local people and hitting the button to follow their accounts with hopes that they’ll follow you back is one method to build an Instagram following and ultimately drive sales leads. It may seem like a game of luck, but this strategy has actually served positive results for small businesses.

Realtor Magazine reports how it works:

Depending where you sell real estate, you might type #California or #Houston or #London into the search engine to find people to connect with. Once you connect with someone, you can send that person a follow request, a message, comment on their picture, or like a few of their pictures.

That shows your audience that you care about them. Showing your business is actually run by caring humans and not money hungry creatures.

Since Instagram has more than 1 Billion users around the world, with 64% of Instagrammers falling between the ages of 18 and 34 and Gen Z, a generation notoriously hard to reach with advertising, gets older and enjoys increased spending power, brands investing in Instagram will benefit.

An even split between male and female users is what makes Instagram truly special. This statistic alone makes Instagram an advertiser’s dream, thanks to the ability to reach a diverse audience.
