According to a new survey by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), teams are becoming more common in the real estate industry as an increasing number of Real Estate Agents consider themselves a member of a real estate team.

NAR’s recent survey found that 26 percent of respondents were members of a real estate team while 73 percent were not a member of a real estate team.

The definition of a real estate team varies, and some states describe it as two or more real estate salespeople or licensees who work together to provide real estate services. But in today’s world, a Real Estate team can also  be composed of one (or more) licensed Real Estate Agent and one (or more) Virtual Assistant.

Real Estate teams are an appealing option as they help sales productivity by letting individual team members thrive with their own strengths and skill sets. Especially when one hires a Real Estate Virtual Assistant who’s focused on one or more major task that you as an Agent would be bogged down if you were to do it all by yourself. Tasks such as Cold Calling, filling out paperwork, organizing your calendar, creating marketing materials and the like.
